Our Government Makes Chimps Of Us All

By   |  February 19, 2009

Actually the chimp dined on lobster and steak. (No relation to me. I leave that to the evolutionists to get their own DNA checked).

It’s strictly chopped beef, dogs, and the other white meats, for me baby! Oh, and a little non farm raised fish when I am in the chips.

How did we let this happen to the America I know and love?

When did we go from a democracy to an oligarchy. If you haven’t viewed this Bill Moyers video I urge you to do so.

America, the home of rich cowards who hide in their McMansions and pull the strings of the politicians to enable and entitle them to steal even more, piling up their treasures on earth. You just can’t have enough homes. I used to think you could have enough jets, but R. Allen Stanford, of 9 billion dollar ponzi fame, owned 6 jets, and even then he tried to charge a charter to flee the country. Unfortunately for him they dont take credit cards for charters leaving the country, since credit tightened. Is one jet too much for me to ask for. YES! Airplanes leave the largest carbon footprint you never wanted to know about, not that I am a plane-theonist. However, you may end up waiting on the tarp for hours, while the private jets are given priority status.

Over the last decade, Stanford has spent more than $7 million on lobbyists and campaign contributions to Washington politics in both parties, although the vast majority of the money has gone to Democrats.

But I digress. Back to the politicians, yes, there are a few good ones, but so few of them speak out, that they are rendered ineffective.

Where are the press. They are supposed to be the watchdogs.

The Press is owned by the moguls whose goal is to keep you in nukes and nikes, paying no mind, as you go merrily along, dropping your viagra, fornicating, imbibing, and remembering to inhale. Works for me, you say. Think again.

Where is the press. Completely and effectively Captured. Whining and Dining at the feet of our captors.

The puppeteers are even throwing funerals for the press. Sorry, duh, the paper, great chronologists that they are, took the link down, but you can read the entire article here.

“But while it’s true that NBC flew Brokaw to Bloom’s memorial – which was held at the home of Steve Cohen, chairman of hedge fund SAC Capital Advisors”

Party’s at Stevies

Cohen’s mansion already boasts an ice rink (with Zamboni machines!), an indoor pool, a basketball court and, based on aerial views of the palatial manor, a tennis court and a two-hole golf course. He has already made copious additions to the home since he and his wife, Alexandra, bought it in 1998 for $14 million.

Criminals, Their Facilitators and Problems of the DOJ.
By bburrell on 2/19/2009 11:23 AM
As is becoming more and more evident, the criminals here, with Madoff standing as a shining light to guide all others like himself, had to have had a lot of serious dirt on the many industry executives and their regulators. Why hasn’t there been a single indictment of their co-conspirators and facilitators? Going a step further, where have the promised super-ceding indictments promised in many of our cases never come down, not one?

The Crisis in Consumer and Investor Confidence.

One perspective for all. This whole thing is turning nasty. Generally, we choose up sides in elections. That isn’t working anymore. I’d like to hear others ideas. I am in a dark-side mood here.

Try not to become too cynical. Together we must rage against the machine until we break the backs of the crooks in power.

  1. Evidence means nothing to those who have already tried and convicted Zimmerman the MSM, the Congressional Black Caucus, Al Sharpton, and most African-Americans apparently. Because it seems they were all there that night and witnessed first hand what happened.

  2. Coucou vous quel est votre point de vue de mon nouveau site sur l’ immobilier ?

  3. You can change the names, the sex and even their political proclamations but the game stays the same

  4. Zwob,

LIkely nothing will come of it. Tim Geithner, Obama’s pick to be our new Secretary of the Treasury, evaded his own taxes, and only ponied up once he was appointed. Of course he did not incur any penalties, just a little “oops, my mistake”. As Treasury Secretary, he also heads the IRS.

  5. Switzerland based bank ubs is going to give info about 300 americans and there known circumventing of taxes to the american goverment. i wonder what will be done with this info?

    Nothing

  6. Switzerland based bank ubs is going to give info about 300 americans and there known circumventing of taxes to the american goverment. i wonder what will be done with this info?

  7. It is time to undo all of Phil Gramm’s deregulation starting with kicking UBS out of the U.S. They are a criminal enterprise and it is no surprise that Phil is their chief lobbyist.

He managed to screw up the regulation of the banks so that there were gaps in the regulation. The removal of so many FBI agents into terrorism from white collar crime. The money that is being laundered and sent offshore depends on the banks to spot. They aren’t doing it.

UBS took over Paine Webber in 2000. They wanted all of those assets in Switzerland and moved accounts, encouraging the owners to avoid taxes. The Swiss Bank Secrecy Laws should not mean a thing in the U.S. If they want to do business here, they need to abide by our laws. Obama should drop the hammer on UBS. UBS has a long history of criminal activity. They lied about earnings, they destroyed records of accounts, the funneled money to Iran… All that the FDIC would have to do is to not insure UBS accounts in the U.S. because UBS is a criminal enterprise. Everyone would move their accounts. UBS would be gone and Phil Gramm wouldn’t be lobbying or advising presidential candidates.
