Extremist Muslim Mob Attacks and Humiliates London Cops

Mix in some traffic cones, rocks, and sticks being thrown at the retreating London cops, some mindless and wrathful screaming, and you’ve got the gist of the sad display of malice and cowardice last week in London.
Throughout the ten minutes of footage, you can hear Muslims cackling and screaming “Allahu Akbar” and “Free free Palestine” as the mob advances on the retreating cops. At one point, an activist charges a cop and is thrown to the ground. This is when the person holding the camera, clearly on the Muslim side, yells “Come on then, let’s have a fucking war” as Muslims attack the cops.
Ever since Operation Cast Lead began, it appears that people who call themselves “pro-Palestinian” have got it into their heads that breaking up pro-Israel rallies and firebombing and vandalizing Starbucks stores with anti-Semitic slogans (because Starbucks was started by a Jew) all work towards freeing Palestine. Of course, this has been going on long since the Gaza offensive, but you wouldn’t know it from looking at mainstream media. In fact, you wouldn’t even know this London incident happened if you looked to mainstream media.
Let’s pretend we didn’t hear all the anti-Semitic and racist yelling from the pro-Palestinian marches the past few weeks during Operation Cast Lead. Let’s pretend the recent attack on a pro-Israel march in Sweden by a pro-Palestinian rally didn’t happen. Let’s pretend those Starbucks weren’t firebombed and vandalized with anti-Semitic slurs just because the company is owned by a Jew. And let’s pretend those radical Muslim fathers in the US didn’t kill their daughters as ‘honor killings’.
One only needs to watch this video to see what radical Islam is turning the world into; an eventual battlefield between the kufar [non-Muslim] and the Muslim. Many people, among them our own President Obama, keep saying we should not view these extremists as the majority of Islam. That the number of moderates far outweigh them.
So where are they?
I don’t see any Muslims speaking out against this radical behavior. I don’t even see many pro-Palestinians denouncing this animalistic attitude. As far as the world can tell, moderate Muslims and the majority of pro-Palestinians approve of this violent behavior. I would love for any moderate Muslims out there to stand up and refute this carnal behavior. Stop letting these creatures of hate and violence claim to represent you.
One is only an alarmist until the threat becomes a reality. And then he’s just like everyone else.

Tinct, on a side note before I voice what’s in my head. We can only hope that people will realize there’s a difference between a xenophobic nutjob, as you put it, and someone who speaks out in place of those who refuse to. A xenophobe or religist (not a real word, but I didn’t think racist sounded right) would spout neverending drivel that makes your ears bleed from all the hate, most of which is nonsensical and irrational. On the other hand, speaking out for those who refuse to do so is seen as pouring cold water on a hot stone: pointless, but can’t help but think that if no one spoke out for fear of upsetting someone, we’d not only forfeit our Constitutional right of Freedom of Speech, but we would make it seem as though we were perfectly happy with this hatemongering and religious takeovers. If nobody spoke out, we’d probably still have slavery or inequality among the sexes (or at least a more severe inequality). Hell, if nobody spoke out then America wouldn’t exist.
That’s a completely legitimate view, #2. In your eyes, they are simply wearing the identity of “Muslim” as a mask.
However, people not well-versed in the matter don’t know the difference. If they turn on the telly and see people calling themselves Muslims marauding through the streets throwing traffic cones at people, then you can hardly blame them for the inference they will inevitably reach.
When Christian fundamentalists say something stupid, like “I await the day when all public schools return to Christianity” (a real quote, but the author’s name escapes me), Christian moderates are swift to publicly condemn his words and demand an apology. Because of this, I feel no need to worry about Christian fundamentalism ever presenting a real threat; the moderates will always keep them in check.
But we never hear any Muslim organizations publicly condemn Muslim clerics who preach genocide against the Jew, the Christian, the West, or the kuffar. Their words go unchallenged every day. Whether you personally condemn these people or not doesn’t make a difference to the world; they have to hear it for it to make a difference at all. It might not be fair, but that’s the reality.
You should not let the prospect of an intrareligious war dissuade you from speaking your mind. That is precisely what these extremists are attempting to achieve, and by refusing to speak out, you allow them to distort what Islam is.
If I, a non-Muslim, speak up against these people, many will just think I’m a xenophobic nutjob. But if people see the protest coming from within Islam (just like with the Christians), then they’ll understand that the extremists don’t define Islam.
The responsibility of protesting religious extremism shouldn’t fall onto the shoulders of people uninvolved with the religion. That responsibility belongs to those who follow the religion.
Ticnt, let me tell you something mate, you wanted a view from a moderate Muslim an I’ll give it to you.
I’m a moderate Muslim and I do condemn these ‘extremists’ and what they do. But the reason most Muslims don’t say anything against them is because we believe that anyone with an extremist view is not a Muslim and is not a member in Islam. Islam is a religion of peace and if extremists think attacking cops and shouting racial hatred is peace then they are highly wrong in many ways.
So why should moderate Muslims say anything towards them. Extremists or pro-Palestine whatever… if they are racist, if they attack people, if they taunt people…. they have no religion and Islam would not accept them as they are breaching peace.
Even if people tried to say something it will just fuel a war against each other so there seems to be no way out.
I hate when people like that say they are Muslim but go against their values completely thus giving the moderate Muslims a bad name. This in turn fuelled with the media turns Islam into a bad religion.

It is unfortunate that it is left to non-Muslims to condemn Islamic fundamentalism. Thus Muslims respond defensively to what they mistakenly perceive as an attack on their religion as a whole. If the so-called moderate Muslims took more of a stand and spoke out against acts of violence, or offered alternative interpretations of the Quranic verses that explictly promote hate and violence towards non-Muslims and especially Jews, then it would lead us to believe that maybe it wasn’t an inherent part of Islam. Unfortunately all too many instead rant about Islamaphobia without actually understanding what the Quran says, or start condemning others (as May Nader does). Yes there are problems in India regarding the treatment of women and in the west regarding acts of mass murder by individuals, the difference is that in India the Indians realise they have a problem (caused by social and economic realities, not religious doctrine) and are attempting to stop it. In the west these attacks are carried out by individuals with any number of reasons, again not prompted by religious zeal.
Another favorite rhetorical trick is to mention the crusades (which were in fact a response to Muslim Jihadism) which finished nearly a thousand years ago and western imperialism of the 18th and 19th centuries. However these are now universally condemned and has been accepted since the enlightenment that religious war is unjustifiable. However, Muslim fundamentalists wish to take us back to the 7th century and establish a Caliphate over the whole world and are waging a jihad (both violent and non-violent) to achieve this. Billions of dollars of Saudi oil money has been funneled into western universities to promote Wahabism. Jihad is a duty of all Muslims (as expressed in the Quran and Hadiths) and so-called moderates who ignore this, or sit quietly by while extremists propagate their views in the mosques, are part of the problem. The battle lines are being drawn for the future and unfortunately, sitting on the sidelines is not an option.

There is no such thing as a moderate Muslim. Whenever any group of “humans” get together under a banner (it pretty much doesn’t matter what the cause is), then sooner or later there will be violence, either from them or to them. I know that’s a generallisation but look at how many marches devolve into mob rule.
As regards muslims, I live in a predominantly muslim area (for clarification I am defined as white british, lapsed christian) and ironically I have had only 2 problems in 20 years with muslims, whereas i’ve had many problems with my own race or however you would define them. My neighbours and I have many times had a chat and a laugh, where if I say hello in greeting to another white, most times all I get is “what you lookin at,eh,wanna fight,fuukoff ya c**t”(spelling was purposefull). I feel that most “western” muslims are in the main good, peacefull people. I can’t really say about what they are like in the middle east, etc as I don’t live there, and I certainly don’t go by reported news accounts as they will only show violence and sensationalism as that’s what sells. For every report of evil, etc there must be thousands of examples of good which are overlooked, often deliberatly. If you don’t believe this then next time you look at you local newspaper or t.v station then see how many acts of violence are reported in your area, compared to acts of kindness, charity, help, etc, or is where you live just a cesspool of thugs, killers, thieves, etc.

This article is not an attack against Islam. This is an attack against Islamic extremism. Anyone who plays the Islamophobic card will be treated like a kindergartner confused by arithmetic, as they should be.

That Hamas declared jihad on the Western World before the Gaza offensive should not come as a surprise to you. Islamic militants and jihadists despise Jews and Western culture (part of the reason why they targeted American, Jewish, and British tourists in Mumbai; in order to frighten us from going there, which would cripple Mumbai’s tourism business). When the Muslim Brotherhood was founded some 25 years ago, part of its mission statement was to ‘destroy Western society from within’; their aim is to inject themselves into our societies without assimilating, and eventually take over simply by fucking like rabbits until they become the majority of the population. The same exact thing happened in Lebanon, and it’s happening in Europe as we speak.
The ultimate tenet of Islamic extremism is to establish a global Islamic caliphate in order to usher in “Dar al Salaam”, or the “House of Peace”; there’s supposed to be peace because everyone will be Muslim. But as we can see from Iraq, Afghanistan, Darfur, Sudan, and just about any Muslim country, this is simply not true. Muslim radicals then find reasons to start killing each other instead (like the Sunnis versus the Shia).
Jewish children were always a ‘legitimate target’ for Hamas. Jewish anything has always been a target for them. They’re only publicly saying it now as if the situation has given the claim some sort of disgusting credibility. But this is their contorted mindset.
One of my friends is Muslim, but ever since this Gaza conflict, they have became extremely hateful towards Israel and Jews in general. I seriously don’t understand how these people can claim that they want peace when the very antithesis of peace is splurting out of their mouths! I read in the newspaper a few weeks ago how since children had died in Gaza due to Israeli attacks, Hamas declared that all Jewish children throughout the world were now a ligitimate target. Now that’s what you call terror and injustice!

A simpler way to look at it is to merely observe the behaviors of a population. When so many Muslim radicals express so much illegitimate violence and hatred, it’s difficult not to let that form one’s own opinion of them as a demographic. The same way as when one sees enough KKK members wishing death on Blacks and Muslims, that person will come to see them as hateful and blinded by religion.
Some time ago, religion used to be a beautiful thing. It was all about spreading love and support; no bullshit, no lies. Whenever I see people of any creed, such as the Muslim extremists in this video, screaming and cackling and spewing hate, it makes me sad. Islam can be beautiful, but these extremists, like any extremists, choose to warp and contort it into a weapon. I reject any person who hates- Jew, Muslim, Christian, Chinese, Australian, bus driver, teacher, etc- unless they are hating hate itself. Peace will never come to this world with monsters like these walking around instigating violence.

Another form of extremism is extreme tolerance. Tolerance is a great rule to live by, to a point.
We should tolerate the beliefs of others as long as they don’t influence politics, are not expressed in public, and of course, as long as they don’t advocate or encourage violence and murder.
As Sam Harris has said, religious beliefs should be open to the same kinds of conversational pressure and scrutiny as any other topic. People should be able to argue against a religious belief using logic without being branded as intolerant.
Islam is the only religion that *demands* the subjugation, conversion, and/or murder of all “infidels”(non-muslims), and specifically lists the “eternal pleasures” they would recieve in the afterlife for such actions.

I realize that other religions(namely christianity) have used their own storybooks to justify largescale “purges”, and I don’t agree with that either. In most religions, ancient scriptures can be misinterpreted to incite religious war. But in islam, no misinterpretation is needed. It clearly says that to be a proper muslim you must engage in jihad and smite infidels(non-muslims). These “muslim extremists” are rightly called “islamic fundamentalists” because a fundamental tenet of their religion is jihad. Other muslims are chosing to ignore that part of their religion. What do we call those people? Islam-ish? Actually, there are many forms of twisted islam – such as the so-called “nation of islam”. They believe that a black mad scientist named dr. yakub created all light skinned races thousands of years ago. It’s true. If you don’t believe me, google it, or go ask one of these fools for yourself. This new and completely ridiculous and obviously untrue belief was created by elijah mohammed around malcolm x’s time(he actually believed this himself) , and was and still is used to incite violent racism against caucasians. This belief has absolutely no basis in truth, whatsoever. It’s easy to see how stupid it is. But if it were established for hundreds or thousands of years it becomes easier to accept?

If you bothered to do half as much research as you’re making it sound like you have done (which isn’t that much in the first place), you’d be shocked to discover that it actually is about religion. Hence their derogatory usage of the term ‘kufar’ (did you even watch the video?). But I’m sure an educated individual like yourself already knew what that means.

I don’t know why these muslims should have any reason to get involved in the free Palestine movement, as basically the argument between Israel and Palestine is essentially a jewish problem not muslim. The only reason that I can see is to instigate more trouble between the 2 nations so that they never resolve it without destroying each other leaving the way clear for the muslims to take over, I am only talking about the trouble makers, not the vast majority of muslims who live peacefully all around the world. If only we could wall off a big chunk of land (escape from new york style) and dump all these extremists of all types along with all the rapists, pedophiles, drug dealers and murderers in it. Throw in a bunch of knives and let them all kill one another, that way the rest of the world can live in peace without all of the nutters and scumbags=)
‘Palestinian’: this video was taken by a Muslim Palestinian supporter inside the mob. You can hear him shout throughout the video. If what you claim actually is true, then don’t you think they would have bothered to film the cops brutalizing them as well, and not just them brutalizing the cop? I’m sorry, but your claim doesn’t make much sense. If you have proof, please provide it to me in video form, as I am sure someone in the mob would have had the brains to film police brutality. Too many people have based arguments on their ‘eye-witness accounts’ to me only to be found out they were lying, so you’ll excuse my skepticism.
I have long since moved past being offended. People throw infant-level insults and racial slurs my way everyday. This shouldn’t offend you unless you yourself are a Muslim extremist, and there’s a difference between that and Muslim just like there’s a difference between the Ku Klux Klan and Christians.
Beyond that, Pal, I’d appreciate it if you could exemplify what you mean when you say I don’t “understand what the Muslims are going through”, because I have a choice few examples myself to show that, no, I sure as hell do not fully understand what Muslim radicals are going through and putting other people through, and I thank my lucky stars for that.
I have proof that what Mark said is correct. Myself and at least 10 others of my own family who were at the demonstrations that saw the police initiate the pushing and shoving and then the people who were being pushed then pushed back.
